Everything Arizona Real Estate!

I thought that this was great information, as the article states, our area is still growing. This article is courtesy of KTAR.com

Pinal County is the fastest-growing county in Arizona and one of the fastest-growing in the nation, according to Forbes.com.

“Places like Maricopa, which were small towns 10 years ago, are now booming urban areas and we’re expecting to end the year with about a 3.6 percent growth rate,” said Pinal’s Heather Murphy. “We’ve been among the fastest-growing regions for a number of years now.”

The population of Pinal County — which borders the Valley on the east and south — has doubled in the last decade and it’s now the fourth fastest-growing county in the nation, according to Forbes.

“It’s people moving from the urban areas into the suburbs, it’s also people discovering that this is a very nice place to live,” Murphy said.

While Pinal County may not seem large to people living in the Valley, its population is larger than that of Rhode Island and it’s closing in on Connecticut.
